\n International Restrictions:
\n*All travellers: From 15 March 2022 Vietnam has reintroduced visa waivers for the nationals of 13 countries including the UK. Visa waivers allow for visits to Vietnam for up to 15 days without needing to apply for a visa.
\nTravellers to Vietnam must wear a mask and follow handwashing and other COVID-19 requirements. Airlines and transit points may stipulate additional requirements to these so you should consult with your travel company/airline as to what is required, before travelling.
\nVietnam no longer differentiates between vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers for the purposes of entry. All travellers must follow the same entry requirements. However, some airlines and insurance companies may have additional requirements, so check with them before travelling.
\nProof of negative COVID test result: From 15 May you no longer need to take a COVID-19 test before travelling to Vietnam. If you show symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, loss of taste, loss of smell, headache, diarrhoea, breathing difficulty, etc.) you must notify the health agency at the border gates.
\n*If you\u2019re fully vaccinated: Entry requirements for Vietnam are the same for all travellers, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
\nProof of vaccination status: You don\u2019t need to provide proof of your vaccination status for entry to Vietnam.
\n*If you\u2019re not fully vaccinated: Entry requirements for Vietnam are the same for all travellers, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
\nIf you\u2019ve tested positive for COVID-19 in the past year\nEntry requirements for Vietnam are the same for all travellers, regardless of whether you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past year.
\n*If you\u2019re transiting through Vietnam: Transiting is when you pass through one country on the way to your final destination.

\n*Exemptions: There are no exemptions to Vietnam\u2019s entry requirements.

\n*Domestic travel: Air Travel: COVID-19 prevention measures vary depending on where you start your journey and your destination. You should check with your travel provider on the status of your flight and prevention measures in place at your destination and/or on return, before travelling.
\n*Public spaces and services: While mask wearing is encouraged in all settings, it is compulsory to wear a mask in the following places: in areas where the government has declared an epidemic level of three or four, at a medical facility, on public transport, and at cultural sites with large crowds.
