\nInternational Restrictions:
\n *All travellers: Foreign passengers need to get a visa before travelling to the DRC.
\n*If you\u2019re fully vaccinated: All travellers entering DRC are subject to screening, including temperature checks. Travellers aged 11 and above need to provide proof of a negative coronavirus PCR test upon entry to DRC or proof of a full course of vaccination against COVID-19. The test result date must be within the 48 hours prior to your arrival. Children under the age of 11 are exempt. There is no requirement for a PCR COVID-19 test at the airport upon arrival.
\nYou should arrange to take a private test.
\nThere are currently no track and trace requirements for arrivals.
\n*Proof of vaccination status: Travellers aged 11 and above need to provide proof of a negative coronavirus test upon entry to DRC or proof of a full course of vaccination against COVID-19.
\nDRC has not yet confirmed that it will accept the proof of COVID-19 recovery record. Your appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination.
\n*If you\u2019re not fully vaccinated: Passengers who are not fully vaccinated will be required to present proof of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure to DRC. If you are not fully vaccinated, you will be subject to an additional PCR test on arrival. People who are not vaccinated are invited, prior to boarding in the country of departure, to register online at on the National Institute of Biomedical Research website to obtain a QR code to be presented on arrival at the sampling centre at the airport. Registration requires you to upload a photo of your passport and a copy of your ticket. The cost of the test is around US$45, payable online, or on arrival (in cash). Travellers aged 11 and above who are not vaccinated will also be subject to this requirement.
\nIf you\u2019ve had COVID-19 in the past year: The same measures apply whether or not you have had COVID-19 in the past year.

\nRestrictions have been placed on the number of people per vehicle for public transport. Wearing of facemasks is mandatory in public and private transport. The police will issues fines of 5000 Congolese Frances if masks are not worn.
\nLocal COVID-19 measures have been announced and altered at little notice in areas outside of Kinshasa. You should monitor local media for the latest developments
\n*Accommodation: Hotels remain open. You should keep up to date with information from your tour operator.
\nPublic places and services: Wearing of facemasks is mandatory for anyone in public areas. This includes in public and private transport.
