\n International Restrictions:
\n*All travellers to Kenya over 12 years of age will be, at all ports of entry, required to show proof of either COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test conducted no more than 72 hours before departure.
\nThose travellers with no proof of vaccination or a PCR test, or with flu-like symptoms, will be required to undergo a rapid antigen test at their own cost of 30 USD. Those who test positive on antigen RDT will be required to take a PCR test at their own cost of 50 USD and self-isolate as per Ministry of Health guidance on isolation.
\nAny traveller entering Kenya with flu-like symptoms will be required to fill the passenger locator form on the \u2018jitenge\u2019 platform: https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/ and to undergo a rapid antigen test at their own cost regardless of age or vaccination status. If the antigen test is positive, they will be required to undergo a COVID-19 PCR test at their own cost.

\nTravellers below the age of 12 years shall be exempt from the requirements of a vaccination certificate or Pre departure PCR test. Full details of the Government of Kenya\u2019s entry requirements in relation to coronavirus can be found on the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority website.\n*If you\u2019re fully vaccinated: Most adults require a full dose of a COVID vaccine to enter Kenya. The vaccine must be approved by the World Health Organisation.\nProof of vaccination status: You must present proof that you have been fully vaccinated to enter Kenya. Vaccination means having received the prescribed doses of specific vaccine latest shot at least fourteen (14) days before arrival (not including the day of vaccination).
\nKenya will accept the proof of COVID-19 recovery and vaccination record and proof of COVID-19. Your appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination and should not be used to demonstrate your vaccine status. You can also upload your certificate of vaccination to the Global Haven website. \nSome airlines may request that foreign travellers show proof of vaccination on their App at check-in.
\n*If you\u2019re not fully vaccinated: Unvaccinated individuals must show a negative COVID-19 PCR test conducted not more than 72 hours before departure.
\n*Children and young people: Children under 12 do not need a negative PCR test or proof of a COVID-19 vaccination to enter Kenya.

\n Internal Restrictions:
\nProof of COVID-19 vaccination required to access transport, state offices, hotels, bars, restaurants (Reuters, 23.12.2021).
\n*Travel in Kenya: There are currently no restrictions on travel within Kenya. You do not need a COVID-19 negative test to board domestic flights within Kenya.
\n*Public places and services: Public transport in Kenya is now able to operate at full capacity.
\nRestaurants and eateries may open to customers, provided they comply with Government of Kenya public health protocols including social distancing.
\nBars are permitted to operate until 11pm.
\nAll public and political gatherings are prohibited.
\nThe maximum number of persons permitted to attend weddings and funerals has been capped at 100, with all in attendance expected to abide by Ministry of Health protocols.
\nKenyan citizens have been advised to avoid crowded places and to work remotely where possible.
\nMany shops and restaurants are conducting mandatory temperature checks and will expect customers to use handwashing facilities before entering the premises.
