\n International Restrictions:
\n*All travellers: On 15 February, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced the online Nigeria Health Declaration Form for incoming travellers. This is a requirement for all travellers to complete before travel to Nigeria. This requirement has been introduced as part of measures to combat the spread of infectious diseases.
\nYou may be asked to take part in thermal screening and/or travel history checks when arriving into Nigeria. This is to assist the Nigerian Government in the detection of diseases of public health importance.
\nAll passengers travelling to Nigeria should complete the health questionnaire either on board the aircraft before landing or on arrival at the airport.
\n*If you\u2019re transiting through Nigeria: All passengers travelling to Nigeria in order to transit to another country, must also register and complete the online pre-boarding health declaration at the Nigeria International Travel Portal.
\nOn arrival all passengers will be screened by Port Health Officials and be required to provide full contact details.
\nThe above guidance applicable to fully vaccinated or not fully vaccinated travellers, should be followed for all transit passengers, including those staying in the airport (airside), or passing through immigration (sometimes known as a layover).

\n Internal Restrictions:
\n*Travel in Nigeria: Passengers will be asked to follow a number of additional health procedures, including the following:
\n\u2022 you must wear a mask or face covering
\n\u2022 all passengers\u2019 temperature will be taken on arrival at the airport
\n\u2022 you are required to observe social distancing measures
\n\u2022 you will be asked to use hand washing facilities installed outside the airports
\n\u2022 your bags will be sprayed with decontamination fluids
\nMost states in Nigeria have introduced their own restrictions on movement. All travellers and residents in Nigeria are encouraged to monitor announcements by the Nigerian authorities on further restrictions, which may be introduced at short notice.
\nThe Federal Government has relaxed the lockdown restrictions in place in Abuja and Lagos and replaced them with new requirements, including a nationwide daily night time curfew between midnight and 4am and the mandatory use of face masks in public.
\n*Public spaces and services: Gatherings of over 50 people outside of work places are prohibited, including all weddings, conferences and sporting events. Places of worship are permitted to hold services, subject to limitations set by state authorities.
\nVisits to public institutions, including government buildings, have been limited.
\nAdditional measures include a mandatory requirement to wear face masks in public spaces. Check the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control website for updates on further guidance on the implications of the lockdown restrictions.
