\n International Restrictions:
\n*All travellers: All travellers should register on the Government of Sierra Leone travel portal before travelling in or out of the country.\nAs of midnight GMT 8 July 2022, the Government of Sierra Leone withdrew the need for both inbound and outbound testing for all passengers, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice. However, you will be required to enter you vaccination status when you register on the portal.
\nProof of vaccination status: Sierra Leone will accept the proof of COVID-19 recovery and vaccination record and proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Your final vaccine dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to travel. Your appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination and should not be used to demonstrate your vaccine status.
\nTo be considered fully-vaccinated you must:
\n\u2022 have had both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine and the second dose must have been received at least two weeks prior to arriving in Sierra Leone, or
\n\u2022 have had one-dose of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at least two weeks prior to arriving in Sierra Leone.
\nIf you\u2019ve had COVID-19 in the past year: Entry requirements for Sierra Leone are the same for all travellers, regardless of whether you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past year.
\n*Children and young people: There are no specific requirements for children and young people.
\n*If you\u2019re transiting through Sierra Leone: There are no specific requirements for transiting through Sierra Leone.
\n*Exemptions: There are no exemptions to Sierra Leone\u2019s entry requirements.

\n Internal Restrictions:
\n*Travel in Sierra Leone: There is a curfew on all movement from 11pm to 5am. Bars and restaurants are required to close at 9pm.
\nIt is now compulsory to wear a mask when in a vehicle. This policy is being enforced by the Sierra Leone authorities. If you are found without a mask you may face a fine.
\n*Accommodation: Hotels are open.
\n*Public spaces and services: Large public gatherings are still limited, and events of over 100 people (e.g. concerts, sporting events) are prohibited.
\nPlaces of worship, churches and mosques have re-opened for worship but there are restrictions on numbers. Hand washing and social distancing is enforced.
\nRestaurants and bars must close at 9pm.
\nPeople are strongly advised to wash their hands, use hand sanitiser and avoid shaking-hands.
\nPeople are advised to keep to strict social distancing.
\n* If you test positive for COVID-19, you may need to stay where you are until you test negative. You may also need to seek treatment there.
